Although we endorsed Rob Ford when he ran for Mayor of Toronto, we did caution that he would ultimately not be the polished mayor that people are used to. He is a man who talks without thinking and that usually gets everyone into some sort of trouble. Rob Ford won the election because the taxpayers of Toronto wanted a change in the way things were being run at city hall, not because Rob Ford was likeable.
