Canada’s only Major League Baseball team was founded in 1977 as an expansion franchise. Originally playing at Exhibition Stadium, the team moved to the Skydome in 1989 which was renamed the Rogers centre in 2004.
The Toronto Blue Jays captured the worlds attention by winning back to back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993.
The Toronto Blue Jays attendance has steadily declined since the World Series but the team still has a spot in the heart of baseball fans in Toronto.
